Zap
A sports discovery and matchmaking app built from the ground up for the Vietnamese sports market.
Zap is a sports matching app where our stakeholder saw a growing opportunity in the local sports scene in Vietnam. I worked in a team of 7 to build the product from early concepts to a working app. As the lead designer, I collaborated closely with engineers, a PM, and the company owner to shape the product direction. For NDA reasons, I can only share an overview of the designs.
Problem
Sports enthusiasts in Vietnam still rely on social media to find games and connect with players, making the process scattered and unreliable.
Outcome
Designed the entire app from scratch, created a scalable design system, delivered high-fidelity mockups, worked with developers, and continued as lead designer post-MVP.
